Good charter etiquette is mostly preparation and attention. The operator’s instructions always come first; these habits help guests arrive ready to enjoy the boat together.
Respect the clock
Arrive by the requested time with forms, footwear and personal items ready. Late guests can reduce time aboard or create pressure during a safety briefing.
Follow crew and vessel instructions
Listen to the briefing, keep passages clear and ask before operating equipment, entering restricted areas or starting an activity. Tell crew promptly about spills, damage, illness or unsafe behaviour.

Follow waste, wildlife, fishing, anchoring and marine-park instructions. Do not remove natural objects or assume an activity is permitted because another boat appears to be doing it.
